To Fight for Freedom

Society can no longer oppress me
For it is my will and right
To become boundless and free

An anomaly within their judgmental eyes
Alienated from the rest of the race
But only I can see through Society's lies

This freedom they promise to give
But They use this to chain and bind us
Living under them, do we truly ever live?

Stereotyped into what we become known as
Not wanting to see what is really inside
And revealing the treasure that each of us has

Hurting us, and making us turn to despair
Falling into what they consider depravity
But we will fight back, to our true freedoms we swear

Because through these awry perceptions
We have found the solution to these wrongdoings

We shall fight back, even if the strings of our freedom
Are to wind back around our necks
